PATEA WEST ROAD BOARD. A meeting of the above Board was held at the Board’s office, Carlyle, on Monday last. Present —All the members. Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. Correspondence.—Better from Undersecretary Public Works, re Spence Road to the effect that the Minister of Public Works considered it the duty of the Board to do the work ; from J. Christie and others, re improvingTaumaha Road ; from Napier and Mitchell, in favour of deviation of Wilson Road ; from P. Cheevers, pointing out what be considered to be an error in contract for Tongahoe Road ; from J, G, Ginger, re road to Manutahi Cemetery. On the motion of Mr E. R. Morgan, seconded by Mr Honeyfield, it was resolved that the action taken by the committee re Crompton and Tongahoe Roads be approved of. On the motion of Mr E. R. Morgan, seconded by Mr Honeyficld, a committee, consisting of Messrs Mcßae, Balmforth, and E. J. Morgan, was appointed to report on road to Manutahi Cemetery.
