Sir, —Your correspondent f ‘ Woodtille,” who until now I imagined to be quite willing to aid and abet all measures calculated to make Hunter’s road, or to get work done on that road, just wakes up when he is told to pay for his own load, &c., &c. “Woodville” knows well who is in the Patea West Board. He knows how the Board is constituted, and he knows a majority to do what it likes is secure; but I presume in the coming closing of roads, others than “ Woodville” will have to oppose. “ Woodville,” .in. the past, .1 expect, has supported these members, and I daresay a few promises will have the desired effect again; but to enlighten the public, I will enumerate a few things the Board arc about to do.
