Then there is the Roumanian army of some 30.000 effective soldiers. The Turkish army in Europe amounts to 412 batallions, 70 Squadrons, 490 field gnus ; a few batteries of mitrailleuse, 200.000 infantry, and 12,000 irregular cavalry.
