ROAD WORK.
{To the Editor of the Patea Mail.) • Sir—M see in the Patea Maix. of Wednesday last, a letter over the-signature of “One who hates trickery,” who, evidently, is very familiar with “ Ways that are dark and tricks that are vain,” for ho tries to rise a cloud of dust to hide his misstitements, and then wishes tire public to believe him as a competent judge of road works.
Really, Mr “ One who hates trickery,” your letter condems yourself, ahd if you think either F. or G. are going into any explanation with a person of your calibre, all I can say, is “ •” If you would state facts, I have not the least doubt but that either F. or G. are quite competent to explain any and everything in connection with the above works. —1 am, &c., FACTS, NOT WIND.
