SHEEP REPORT.
(TO THE EDITOR OF THE PATEA MAIL.) Sir, —l notice in your last issue a letter signed “ Flockowner,” which is almost a fac simile of one in the issue of the 2nd instant, signed “ Inquirer,” asking what tbe chairman of meeting of sbeepowners, held at Kakaramoa in March last, and tho spokesman of a deputation who lately waited on the Premier re scab, has been doing since. For my own part, as having bad the honor of being chairman of tho meeting spoken of, I may inform those gentlemen that the object of said meeting having been attained—viz., appointment of Sheep Inspector—l have since that time been attending, sometimes public business, and at others my own private business. I must leave the spokesman of the deputation to give you a resume of his engagements since that time on bis own behalf. Hoping this will satisfy one portion of the requirements of above-mentioned correspondents—l am, &e., EDWIN R. MORGAN. Kakaramea, June 21, 1877.
