(TO THE EDITOR OF THE PATEA MAIL.) Sir—Can you inform me if there is any hope of the County Councillors taking any steps to clear cattle off the main road between here and Carlyle. Just below Kakaramea, pretty well any night (light or dark), the road is taken possession of by cattle, which care very little whether you drive over them or not. fhe nuisance is equally great when nearing Carlyle, as some black beasts, either large or small, will always be found in charge of the road, to the great danger of travellers.
