ORDER OF PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL. WHEREAS by Sections 80 and 177 of “ The Counties Act, 187 6,” it is among other things enacted that the County Council of any County established under the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1876,” may, by an Order publicly notified, from time to time make Bye-laws for the government of the County. And whereas the Council did, at a Special Meeting held on the fifth day o March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven, pass a resolution adopting Bye-laws for regulating the proceedings of the Council and security of officers and contractors. And whereas, further, the Council, at a Special Meeting of the Council hold on the third day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventyseven, did confirm the aforesaid resolution, as provided by Section 80 of “The Counties Act. 1876,” and did direct that an Order in conformity with such resolution be drawn up and sealed with the Seal of the County, and forthwith publicly notified. Now it is by this Order declared that the aforesaid Bye-laws shall come into force on the fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventyseven.
