PATEA HARBOR BOARD.
(TO THE EDITOR OX? THE PATEA MAIL.) SIK,—As a supporter of Major Atkinson in the last contest for Eginonc, I am sorely disappointed, for I thought the Major held a higher opinion of the abilities of the country settlers. It appears he thinks us a lot of Jambs, as ; t requires the Government at Wellington' and the' Town Board of Carlyle to tax us and spend the money, without our being consulted on the mailer. The earlier Major Atkinson resigns his seat and allows us the opportunity to elect a person that thinks the country setth.rs in the County are!capable of spending their own money, the better.—l am, &0., A TWO-TOOTH WEATHER.
