Patka Mail Office, Friday Evening. AV. Cowkum reports:—At tin*, monthly .sale held nt Kakaramea on Thursday’last, 74 head ol : cattle were yarded. There was a numerous attendance, and all cold at satisfactory rates. Mixed stores, about 2 years, sold at from .£4 12s Gd to T5 10s ; 1 pen cows, 15s ; a nice lot of ffiycnrold steers fetched T7 ss. Several light harness and saddle horses were offered, but there was no demand.
