This day—B.2B a in., 8 55 p.m. Sunday—9.l9 n.m , 9.42 p.m. Monday—lo.3 n.m., 10.22 p.m. Tuesday—lo.4l a.m., 10.59 p.m. Tho steamer Tongariro came in yesterday, and brings a large cargo, particulars of •which will bo found under the head of imports. ’ Tho ketch Jane Elkin lias had rather a long passage from Lyttelton, hut arrived all right, after some vicissitudes, on Wednesday last, Hho left Lyttelton on the 271h nit., and almost immediately fell into foul weather. She first of all had to boar up for Mann, where she .stayed some time. Then she wan driven to Wanganui, where she had to shelter for five days, and lastly she came on hero, and after anchoring olf the port for a few hours, was able to cross tho bar with case, and reached the wharf without trouble. Captain Leslie desires ns to thank Pilot Wood for the great and valuable aid he rendered him in coining in, and wo have great pleasure in lima bearing testimony to the services of a valuable officer. All her cargo is consigned to Mr S. Tapi in.
