[Per Press Agency.] AUCKLAND. August 31. The footballers arrived iu the Hawor, and play at Ellorslio to-morrow afternoon. September 1. Sir G. Grey sent a telegram to Auckland footballers congratulating - them on thenvictory. The report by the accountant on the .state of the city books shows a very disgraceful system of keeping accounts. One report says the books in no way represent the state of the city finances.
