IT is hereby notified, that, after the Ist of January next, the use of Impressed Stamps on Bills of Lading is compulsory. Such documents must, 1 after that date, be written Upon paper previously impressed at the Head office, and cannot be stamped after the execution thereof. It is requested, therefore, that Merchants, Shipping Agents, and others concerned, will, without delay, forward . to this office such forms as they may r require to be impressed, accompanied by i the usual requisition and receipt of the 3 Bank of New Zealand for the amount, i ess the authorized'discount, j Information may he obtained at any ' Stamp Office, The provisions of the Act bearing on } this point are as follow: — g “47.
