After a month's incubation on the Knif'd section of the the Dublin Health Act, (he .Resident Magistrate of Batea has brought forth a verdict which is admitted by tlie public to be a correct one. It will be remembered that his Worship reserved judgment in a large mi in her of cast's brought before the Court by Mr Hirst, Inspector of Vaccination, for neglecting to cause certificates of successful vaccination to bo forwarded to the inspector within the time pivseribed by the .-Vet. The magistrate, in delivering judgment, said—“ By the 103 rd clause of the Public Health Act, JS72, it is strictly laid down that the medical officer vaccinating shall forward the certificate to the Vaccination Inspector. For that reason, he dismissed the cases, as the actions ..should have been brought against the doctor who vaccinated, and not against the parents.” if the gentleman who occupies the position of Resident Magistrate in this district would only reserve “All his judgments ” for the space of one calender month we are of opinion that the delay would not impair the adminstratiou of justice in Pa tea.
