Monday, July 20, 1875. GIBSON V BLAKE. To recover the sum of £ll 8s 7d, f«r goods supplied. ; , No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount, with costs. BRENNAN V DANIELS. Claim £4 2s 6d. Defendant pleaded indebted in sum of £2. Plaintiff deposed that' he agreed to work for defendant at the rate of 25s per week. Defendant stated that he engaged plaintiff at the rate of £1 per week, and offered to pay him the evening he was leiving, which he refused to accept. • t Judgment for plaintiff for £2, and costs. Breach op the Peace. ;• Quinn and T. Eannon (a native) were charged with being drunk, and disorderly on the ,12th inst at Waitotara.. . The hative pleaded guilty and Quinn not guilty: ■ Constable Hines proved seeing defendants fighting at Waitotara on the day in question, and'Jr Southcombe ; corroborated his evidence. The Benchfined Quinn 20sorin default4B hours imprisonment, and the Maori 5s or 24 hours imprisonment. The costs (£2 4s 6 1) to be equally divided. The Court then adjourned/
