A SERIES of LAND SALES is being held in the Province of Taranaki under the Waste Lands Board of tire Province, the Lauds offered being Town and Rural Allotments, the latter varying in area from 20 to 320 acres, and the conditions of the sale being by DEFERRED PAYMENTS extended over Ton Years, by Auction, for CASH ; ami by FREE SELECTION for CASH. The District is traversed by the Waitara-Wauganui Railway, now in course of construction, and which is expected to be completed as far as Inglewood—the Township at the commencement of the District —in about eighteen months. The Land is well adapted to AYorking Settlers of Small Capital, as it is easily accessible, lias abundance of timber for building, fencing, fenl, and shelter ; never failing streams of water, and a very productive soil, A good Alain Road traverses the District so far as it is yet open for purchase, and the District Roads will also be opened up by the Provincial Government, so as to make each allotment accessible from the Alain Line of Railway. IN pursuance of the provisions of the Licensing Act 1873 and the Licensing Act 1873 Amendment Act 1874, notice is hereby given that the ANNUAL LICENSING COURT tor the District of Patea, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for certificates for licenses for the sale of alcoholic liquors, will be holclcn at the Resident Magistrate’s Court; Carlyle, on TUESDAY, the Ist day of June, 1875, at 12 o’clock noon.
