PATBA RAILWAY, PUBLIC MEETINGS. MR SHERWOOD invites the settlers of Hawcra, Manntahi, and Kakaramea to MEET him at the time and places as follows : At Hawera Blockhouse, on Wednesday, 2Gth instant, at 7 p.m. At Manntahi Blockhouse, on Thursday, 27th instant, at 7 p.m. At the Kakaramea Hotel, Kakaramea, on Friday, 28th instant, at 7 p.m. In addition to Provincial matters, the RAILWAY QUESTION will be brought forward. The settlers of Carlyle and Wairoa arc taking an unusual amount of interest in this matter, and as it is clearly to the interest of all to do so, it is hoped that the settlers will find it convenient to attend.
