DOG- NUISANCE ORDINANCE, 1872. J HEREBY appoint William Connolly to be Tax Collector and Registrar for 24th (Hawcra) District, 25t.1i (.Pa. tea West) District, and 2GUx (Patna East) District. DOG NUlS;bNcl’i ORIHNxi 1872. , THE following- sections of the above Ordinance are published for general information; 2. The Registrar shall cause printed forms, according to Schedule A, to lie delivered to every owner or occupier of land and householder in bis district, who shall within twenty-one days from such delivery return such form properly filled in, stating the number of dogs owned by him or in bis possession, and by every person living on property in bis occupation, and shall on return of such notice so filled up pay the fee imposed by sec. 4 hereto ; and in delimit in either case ho shall be liable to a penally of not less than One Pound, or more than Five Pounds; and any person who shall knowingly send a false return shall be liable to a penalty of Ten Pounds, such penalty to bo recovered in a summary manner, on the information of such Registrar. 3. It shall be the duty of the owner of dogs to provide the same with a collar, to bo worn at all times, with the owner's name thereupon. 4. The owner of any dog or dogs shall pay to the Registrar of the Town, Township, or Rural District in which be resides the fee of Five Shillings for each dog above the age of three months owned by him, ,-mcl shall furnish a description in writing of the breed, sex, ago, and special marks, and name (if any) of the dog in respect of which each such fee shall be paid. <j. Any person who shall make use of any collar on a dog, in respect of which the fee lias not been p.dd, shall bo liable to a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds nor less than One Pound, recoverable in a summary way. AMENDMENT OR DIN ANCE. 1874. 2. Any person in actual possession of a farm of not less than forty acres in extent, is hereby empowered to keep one sheep or cattle dog, the same not being a seller, pointer, retriever, or other sporting dog, on paying to the Registrar the fee of One Shilling for such dog, and in other respects complying with the provisions of the Dog Nuisance Ordinance, 1872.
