GENTLEMEN, —As there arc many matters of importance to Patoa to be discussed at the forthcoming session of the Provincial Council, 1 think it advisable to ask yon to meet me, in order that I may elicit your views upon my past, and intended future actions in the Council. The question of a petition to the Government, asking to have a SECTION of RAILWAY COMMENCED within the District, will bo brought forward ; amt as this is a matter that ought to commend itself to every settler, I hope they will make it convenient to at tend. The first Meeting will take place at the Court House, Carlyle, THIS EVENING, at 6 p.m. Meetings, of which due notice will be given, will bo held at Kakaramea, Manutabi, and Ilawcra.
