Flour, although quoted by local miliars at £l2, they arc unable to meet the demand, so arc evidently frying to prcA'cnt Adelaide and Southern brands coming into the market. Oafs, 3s fid ; barley, (is ; Avhcat, 4s ; bran, £7 ; pollard, £7 10s; maize, none ; oatmeal, £22 ; pearl barley, £26 ; butter, Is ■ld; choose, none ; hams and bacon, none. Buckland reports fat cattle at 21s to 27s per lOOlbs: fat sheep, short supply, at 4id per lb. Back hind reports.—Medium draughthorses £l7 to £35; heavy ditto, £SO ; first class dairy cattle at previous rates ; inferior ditto, at lower rates ; 201 head fat cattle sold at 24s to 27s tflic lOOlbs ; half-bred store Avcthers, 13s ; owe lambs, 8s to 12s ; fat sheep, ltd per lb ; fat lambs, 12s to 17 s. Napier, April, 9. Routlcdge, Kennedy, & Co., sold at Hastings, 2090 Merino ewes at 3s fid ; 085 store do., 3s (Id to 4s ; 300 fat Merino Avcthers, 7s fid : 555 do.. -Is.
