King Tawhiao's Speech at the Unfastening of the Natives to return to their Homes on the 25 May, 1893. My direct word that the Matariki's, Manulcura's Whakamarumaru's Chiefs and the whole Nations may all hear a 1 all, nil. Who are here present, and listening to this word of mine. May God always protect us, He shall enlighten us ; none else but God shall protect and enlighten us, He sh.ill give you a clear understanding in your hearts take heed to this word of mine, that you all may hear. This is the day that the Nations are untied, allowed to go home to their separate homes. This is the day the foot of the strong and the weary steps forth, it shall be untied ! untied ![ untied !!!
