Refused a license to carry a revolver by the police owing to his criminal record, John Barrett, a company manager, aged 51, pleaded guilty at Wellington on Wednesday to being unlawfully in possession of a revolver and also to being in possession of an Unregistered revolver for a longer period than seven days. The accused was fined £lO and an order was made forfeiting the weapon.
