Leonard Swenson, a farmer of Ngawaka, near Taihape, aged 26, was charged to-day before justices of the peace with wilfully setting a motor car alight, with the intention to defraud an insurance company of £2OO. He pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wanganui for sentence.
