Some of the old cannon which are now guarding the Tower of London are for sale. The cannon for sale are of bronze or iron, and some are probably 200 years old. One gun weighs three tons, fires 15in ball shot, and was captured in India many years ago. Another brass Indian howitzer was captured in 1803. There are mortars weighing, in some cases, two tons. These cannons are valuable relics, although they are being sold cheaply. But to-day war souvenirs are no longer in demand. Even tanks are not wanted as mementoes, and recently some have been broken up for the value of the metal.
