FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
AX INTERESTING HINT. CHRI6TCHURCH, September 8. A suggestion of interest and value to those eiigaj>eJ in the frozen meat industry in New Zealand was made by Mr W • Recce at a meeting of the General Committee of the Canterbury A. and P. Association this afternoon Mr Recce, who has just returned from a visit to England and the Continent, said it was very apparent to him that New Zealand was not getting anything like value for its fro/.en meat. Those tra\elling on the Continent had to put up with meat under all sorts of fancy names, and it would be a real boon to millions of people on the Continent to have some of the New Zealand frozen meat at the low price afc which it was sold. "We have not exhausted all our efforts in endeavouring to get in with our frozen meat." continued Mr R-eece, "and a irreat thing' to niy mind would be to interest the forei^neid thomsehe3 in our meat. Continental people don't like outsidois pushing thei"sehes into trade, but if they can be first interested in our meat, then I think good business could be done." *— St. Peter's, the famous Roman Church, o#a aooonuftodate 54,000 .naanW
