HENLEY.
September 13. — Our annual bachelors' tall came off last Friday, and turned out to be a huge success, the hall being crowded to the doors. Dancing under these circumstances was no easy task. The music was supplied by capable musicians in Messrs Maclntyre Brps., who. gave entire satisfaction to the dancers. - Train Service. — The train service here is not all that could be desired. We have Vwo .trains following one another in the morning. These could be combined and thus expense saved to the Government, and greater convenience provided for the residents. Dairying-.— The milk industry bids fair to become a big thing this year. The factory is likely to receive the support of two new steadings. Football. — We received a visit from the Milton footballers, who proved to be superior in talent to the local team.
