| MOROCCO, September 8. Aguileras destroyed the Riff positions - around Arkemen. The Moors made a splendid resistance, and lost heavily, but they were unable to withstand the dash' • of the Spanish infantry, who advanced! under cover of a heavy artillery fire. LONDON, September 12. General Aguilera's brigade left Arkamait and devastated a stretch of splendid country, blowing up and burning every farm, village, and house, and destroying' the crops. A few surrenderors were generously treated.
