DUNEDIN D.L.F. LITERARY AND DEBATING CLUB.
•Mot{« : " Union is Strength." The usual weekly meeting of the above club was held on Tuesday, Augusl 31, 1908. There was a fair attendance of roenibers.^ A cordial welcome was extended! to Midgie,i of -the lnvercargill Club, and. Leola. It being open meeting Jfie following contributed:—A . Wild Duck's^ Feattier, "A Korean Santa Claus,'-' and "some funny selec--tibns. i■< Indian ' Chief rssd a chapter out of- " The Virginians," wihioh was very much" enjoyed ; Arcta, a paper on " Making the Most of Things." Harry occupied his old place as president. As very little interest is taken ■in the club, tnd the attendance is so poor, it has been decided to close down, -the club till the first- week in December. If the attendance an?
