A letter irom Shasta was road regretting' her inability to attend, which was due to a severe attack of neuralgia. Final arrangements were made in connection with the interclub debate with the - First Church Debating Club, to-be held on Wednesday evening, 1 15th September. Lavengro, Shasta, Octava., and Luceda were chosen, to represent the club in this contest.
