Mr J. A. Boreham, champion of Aus-< tralasia, returned to Dunedin on Saturday last in good order and condition. A long chat with hirr war full of interest, but tha result r»ust in the meantime stand over,with the exception of one pomt — it is this;|' Mr Borehar has consented to tour the wholcr of New Zealand, playing allcomers', if players want him. That is the position, briefly stated. Nothing at the present time would give a greater impetus to the game than m ' tour by the, cbaxnpoin playing allcomete. And New Zealand' was never riper for ad- [ vance than at the present time. It cannot,of course, be done for nothing; but tha ! expense . would not come" hard on anyone j where there -is a body of players in any di - '{ trict. Mr- Boreham could 'start on, say, j Thursday, 16th inst. In the -meantime', tha various, districts will prcjbablybe communicated with through representative men* and so learn the feeling of players, beginning in the south.
