FORTNIGHTLY LABOUR REPORT.
The Centra.) Labour Exchange, Arcade, Dunedin, reports that -during the last fortnight there has been a fair inquiry for farm labourers, ploughmen being in most demand. The ruling- wages are: — Ploughmen, 255; milkers, 20s, 22s 6d; couples, £80 to £100; cooks, 255; rouseabouts, 20s; labourers, 7s to 8e; shepherds, £75; housekeepers, 15s.
