Browmridge ; "The I Farming Industry," proposed by Mr Kitto 1 and replied to by Mr Wm. Ford ; "New Members," proposed by Mr J. Borland and , replied to by Mr Mocldej ; "Local Indus- ! tries," proposed by Mr Bennett and rej plkd to by Mr Meek; "Education," proI posed by Mr Ford and' replied to by Mr Roichel; "The Ladies," proposed by Mr i M'Kenzie and replied ho by Ma- Carmichael. Songs were contributed by ! Misses Brown, Winning, and M'lntosh, i and Mr C. M'lntosh ; two glees wero given by the glee party ; a recitation by I Mir G. Cafmichael, and a violin solo by ,Mr Bennett. Mrs Bennett played all the I accompaniments. The refreshment sup- | plied by the Otautau caterer (Mr Dickson) I were done full jutsice to. The tea and I coffee, made by expert lady members, were of the usual excellence. After a number , of votes of thanks had been proposed an j enjoyable and useful meeting was brought I to a close by the singing of the National , Anthem and "Auld lang syne."
