FIRE AT LONG ISLAND
' NEW YORK, August 31. i Fire destroyed the St. Macalachy's Home, on Long Inland. The bodies of seven children have so far been recovered, and it >s feared that there are more fatalities. LONDON, September 1. There were 10 death* at St. Malaehy's Hcme, Long Island (New York), as a, result of the fire. Six hundred escaped. Th.-i nur.s literally dragged 200 out of the burning building.
