MR W. SCOTT SELECTED. It is officially stated that Mr W. Scott, secretary of the' Otago Employers' "Aesocia* tion, wall be appointed to a seat on the' " Arbitration Couirt Bench, to fill tSe position rendered ■vacant by the- recent death of Mr. S. Brown. The Oaoterburj, WeJ- - lington, and Auckland Employers' Associations pressed Mr Scott to accept the position, and it is- scarcely necessary to say that the Otago Association was unanimous in urging his - acceptance. Ths Hawke's Bay Association - recommended Mr Scott, or as am alternative Mr F. Hobbs, of Obrietchurcb, for the vacancy.
