WELLINGTON RACING CLUB.
WELLINGTON, August 23.
The committee of the Wellington Racing Club has decided to include a special - weight - for - age race _in its programme at its spring meeting next October. A stake of 550sovs, 50iovs of which will be distributed between the breeder of the winner and the A. and P. associations, on the basis of 75 and 25 per cent, respectively, will be attached to the event, which will be run over a mile and a-quarter course. The,, owner of the winner will also receive a sidver oup, given by Mr J. B. Harcourt (president of the club).
