HEAT WAVE IN ENGLAND

LONDON, August 13. The heat has caused eight deaths in England. It also caused an explosion at the Chitworth Gunpowder Company's works, near Buxton, one person being killed. Eighty-six degrees in the shade were registered in London. The wheat crops have greatly benefited.
