SYDNEY, Au S usl 4. The match between Ponsoiiby and South Sydney was played to-day. and resulted in a win for the former" by 25 points to 6. The weather was fine, but a high wind prevailed. Ponsonby, losing- the toss, played against the wind in the first half, which ended up with vorv even play. Savoury secured a try, which O'Leary converted. South Sydney also scored a try.
