AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
AUCKLAND. August 3. At the annual meeting of the Auckland Racing Club the chairman fitated that it ' was intended to increase the stakes by £4000, and make a number of improvements on the course, principally on making- new roads and on the people's stand.
