Miss Advance, who was in a ba,d way a few days ago with an internal complaint now appears Jikely to pull through. It is worthy of note that the £8169 paid by bookmakers for the privilege to bet at the Auckland Racing Club's gatherings during the year just closed is within £331 of the revenue received from the same source for the corresponding period by the Victoria Racing Club, which provides for lo days racing against 13 days in Auckiand, and does not use the totalisator
