I The Persian Government continues to dispute with the ex-Shah respecting the Grown Jewels, which he refuses to surrender, j The possibility of the Nationalists refus- ! ing to recognise the late Government's foreign debts is causing disquiet. August 5. i The ex-Shah has accepted the Teheran Government's offer of an annual pension of £15,000, on condition that he delivei's the jewels and states how he disposed of the mfrsing jewels. The ex-Shah will depart in a fortnight, and the Russians will leave Kazvin simultaneously . " LONDON, August 6. Reuter'fi correspondent at Tabriz .«ays it is reported that Mahomed Kali Khan, the envoy of Sepahdars (Minister of War), shot 11 wealthy reactionaries at Ardebil and handed their bodies to their relatives for the sum of 30,000 tomans (about £10.600).
