LOSS OF JEWELLERY
m> SYDNEY, August 9. Mrs Wiltshire, of Auckland, a passen- ' ger by the Mokoia, has reported the lose of jewellery valued at over £1000. It vra/s packed in a strong trunk, and was not required on the voyage, and therefore not opened until after its removal . to her Sydney hotel. It is not known "whether the robbery was committed in Auckland or during th* voyage. The police are investigating the matter. |
