GORE STOCK MARKET. (From Our Own Correspondent.) GORE, March 10.
GORE, Tnere was a large attendance of fanners «nd other interested spectators at to-diay's jfcoek sale, when about 750 C sheep and 80 head of cattle were offered. Bidding throughout the day was keen, and every line, with perhaps two exceptions, changed hands. Again fanners from every district could be heard commenting on the abundance of feed, 'and everyone seemed inclined to buy. Consequently prices- were very good, and swes ■and wethera were fully 2s per head higher than Last sale rates. Lambs were aleo in great demand, although, perhaps, they were not up in price as much as athei classes of sheep. The class of sheep forward was very good, there "being very few lots oi inferior iiheep in the yarding. Fat wethers sold from 16s 7d to 18s 6d; fat ewes from lQs to 12s 6d; fat lambs, 14s to 14s 4d; twotoom store wethers, 11s 9d to 15s; four-tooth wethers, 16s 6d; two-tooth breeding ewes brought from 16s to 20s 2d; faux and six-toorth ewes to , Sis 8d; four, six, uid eight-tooth, from 13s to 19s 2d; six and eaght-tooth ewes, 12s to 16s 6d; eight-tooth ewes, 10s 6d bo 15s. Shady mouth ewes sold up to 10s 2d; boilers from Is 6d >to 8s 6d. Fat and forward lambs sold at from 12s to 18s 3d; tussock lambs bringing from 10s 6d to 116 sd; culls, 6s to BBrO&ittle sold at prices about ofl a par with, kite- stale rates.
