CUSTOMS RETURNS.
The Customs dutie* collected at the port of Dunedin for the month of February, 1908, amounted to £30,634 14s 3d, as against a total of £38,574 7s lOd for that cprresponding month last year. The beeij. duty amounted to £2878 7s sd, as againsfi £2718 2s lid for February, 1907. The gold! exported last month was only 317Zoz^ valued at £12,689, whilst in February, 190Tj! the quantity was £12,6460z, of a total value* of £51,319."
