THE 1906 CENSUS IN OTAGO. (Compiled by the- Rev, ; Robbbt sWooa.) j The census of 1906 report* the JPresby1 terian population of Otago to be 82,117. In 1 1901 the Presbyterian population was 77,976 j — the increase, therefore, was 4141. The increaee was slight, and does not amount jto the natural increase. The opening up of new land and the commercial growth of towns in the north have attracted many lof the sons of Otago. The following figures show the increase «r- decrease in the boroughs and counties of Otego eince 1901: — I. *In 3901 the boroughs of South Dunedin and Oavprsham were in existence. These are , now included in Dunedin.
