BROKEN HILL PROPRIETARY.
SYDNEY, February 20
The report of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company for the half-year ended November 30 shows that the net profits were £137,642, as compared with £308.238 for the previous half-year. The decrease was due to the fall in the price of metals. The company received only 83 5d per ton for ore, as compared with 20s 9d previously.
