ARBITRATION COURT.
INVERCARGILL, February 2(7. The Arbitration Court sat at Riverton to'da\ to hear a dispute between the miners of Round Hill and the companies. Tho chief points of disagreement were overtime, holidays, wage 6, and preference. The' workers asked for an increase in_ wagee all round, and payment in cash instead o£ by cheque. Decision was reserved J February 21. The Arbitration Court heard legal argu* ment and reserved its decision to-day in th© compensation case tc Walter Rouse, ■who was injured in the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's stores at Bluff, and who died.
