COLLIERY EXPLOSION

LONDON. February 21.

Through an explosion at the Glebe colliery, in the vilbga of Washington, near Sunderhnd. 14 out of 15 persons who were in the mine at the time were killed.

Great damage na« done to the mine, and there are many falls in the voilvings. * The explosion occurred at night. Usually 500 hands are employed in the day time. *
