TIMARU. Fcbruai-y 13. Tliis morning all the butchers at tlist Pareora Freezing Works struck on account of one of their number being discharged for "smoking on the board.'' There is a special place provided for smoking, but the butcher discharged infringed the regulations by smoking on the boaid. One of the directors of the company (Mr R. H.
