At the Addir.gton live stock market to-day there was fairly good yarding of all classes of stock.
The entry of fat cattle was just slightly better than last week, though the quality was not up to the usual standard, only two or three extra prime lines being offered. The total yarding was 290, and the prices ranged a c fol cws — Steers, £6 10s to £9 15s; heifers, £3 7s to £7 , cows. £1 5s 63 — equal to 19s to 22« for p-iime and 14s to 19s for mfcuoi per 1001b.
There was a larger entiy of fat larub« than list week, but they were of indifferent quality, only a few pens containing lambs of good quality. Piices were 15s 6d to 16s lid; freozers i'3s to 15s; lighter, 10s to 12s 6d.
There was a fair yarding of fat sheep of good quality, ancf prices were : Prime wethers, 17s 6d to 20s ; lighter. 14s 9d to 17s , prime ewes. 15s 3d to 18s 6d : medium, 13s to 14s 6d: aged and light, 8s 6d to 12s.
Store sheep weie entered in fßirly large numbeis. and the demand was good for sound-mouth ewes and forward-conditioned 1 lambs Sound-mouthed breeding ewes made from 13s 6d to 15s, and young ewes 15s to 17* 3d
The yarding of pigs was srnal 1 . but the market was fairly brisk. Baconers made 45s to 50s> for small, and 54s to 65s for larger. Poikers brought 34s to 44s for medium, and up to 50s for hea\y weights — equal from 5d to oid per lb. Stores made from 12s to 16s for small and 35s to i'is for laigei , while weaneis brought 10s to 12s.

GORE, February 11 There was a fairly la r ge attendance at today's sa.le, when ©bout 1300 sheep and IFO head of cattle were offered. The sale throughout waa rather dull and dragging, buyers being inclined to keep prices very low. There appeared to be a few buyers present for forward lambs, and all of this class offered sold fairly well. Fat sheep were decidedly easier, and the bulk of the yarding was unsold. Cattle were also rather dull of sale, but. a large portion of the yarding changed hands at prices slightly below last sale's rates. Fat wethers brought frcm 16s
