Banger O'Neill reported upon David Andrew's application for a grazing license over about two acres 'in block 11. Teviot district — Yearly license granted; rent 5s per annum. Ranger O'Neill reported upon Harriet AL'Kay's application for a grazing license over about two acres in block 11, Teviot district. — Yearly licence granted; rent 5s per annum - Ranger O'Neill reported on objection lodged by T. and B. Sheehy to application of John Blair Denip=ter for an occupation lease in "Block 111, Benger district. — Lease granted, subject to survey; rent 43 6d per acie. "William Wood, on behalf of John Taylor, renewed his application for an occupation lease over 100 acres in block I, Bannockbuin district. — Received Albert L. Quennell applied to surrender allotment 51. Windle Settlement. — Granted. Murray. Roberts, and Co. again applied, on behalf of Watson Sheenan. with regaid 4o lease of section I, block XII. Gimmerburn district. Chief Forester also foiwarded a zeport. — Tenders to be called for right to occupy the laud under ceitain conditions for a period of seven yeais. Tendeis to be sent in by 10th March next.

James Hyelop .wrote with regard to the clearing of noxious weeds off four islands in Clutha River, adjoining Greenfield Settlement, and aljo applied for a 14 years' lease of same. — To| be offered a yearly license, *s Land Board had no power to grant a lease for « longer term. The question of clearing land to be referred to Stock Department. Banger O'Neill forwarded valuation of improvements on section 16, block X. Teviot district, held under pastoral license 10S6, the term of which expired on 29th February next; licensee, Catherine Inglis.-^Valuation for improvements fixed at £15. Joseph Condon, lessee of allotment 9a, Kurow Settlement (lease in perpetuity), who was asked to show cause why his lease should not be declared forfeited, stated that a, building would be erected during February. — Kecelved. XI, Naseby district, under lease m perpetuity 888, who was called upon to show cause why his lease should not be declaied forfeited, wrote stating that he was residing on his land. — Received.
