Very la.rge entries will be received for the r-fle championship mooting of the Defence Forces Rifle Association at Trentham. Good entries have alroadv been received from North Canterbury, the total now being 29, and many other 3 are expected in the next few days! Last year the total from North Canterbury was 33, but that total will be considerably exceeded this \ear. The riflemen already entered are, ne-arlv all good shots, and Captain Craw is a Bislev man. WELLINGTON, February 15. It is expected Jiat the entries for the Riflo Championship meeting, which commences on the sth March, will exceed previous records. The probable number from the Wellington district ie 250. The total entry last year was over 400, and this years number is expected to be between 450 and 500.
